Sometimes, when I'm feeling a little lonely and blue, I like to read blogs of fellow spankees and submissives. I think we're a more vulnerable sort.
No, I don't think we're weaker than non-submissives.
I just think we share the deepest parts of ourselves more freely. All those vulnerable fears and hopes and dreams and insecurities everyone has, we share.
Sometimes, it does my soul good to realize there are so many people out who have the same feelings I do. Even if I don't know the blogger that well, or even if they don't know me at all, it feels good to know someone else is having the same feelings as me.
Thank the goddess for those blogs.
What do you think?

Thank you for the comment. I understand completely what you mean. I also feel that we share our emotions easier and it is comforting to know that others feel the same way as we do. Sometimes feelings get to us and having a network of friends or other bloggers that also can validate those feelings at times helps. I know it helps me. For me writing my feelings is one way to help me through things. So when I blog it feels better just getting it out. It helps alot more when others with the same feelings also comment or send their support. I don't think that being a submissive makes us weak at all. I think you are right in the fact that we can share those with others so easily because the community of other submissives spankos and the what not is a very close community and there are always others with those same feelings that are happy to share with us as well. I just think we have a better chance at getting through our emotions because there are so many others that are willing to share as well and help us through. The BDSM and spanking community is one that I have found is very supportive of each other and we are never alone.

So true, I think. It's a good place to be! And yes, it is definitely an understanding and accepting community, one that treasures vulnerabilities as opposed to taking advantage of them, I think.

Yes indeed. It's sharing ideas and thoughts with other likeminded bloggers, that's why I started blogging in the first place :)

I know I've communicated & shared with so many good people. What you say about our vulnerabilities is true.
The expression of the joys, sadness's, and fellow-feeling, are a Universal need.
I'm very grateful to all of those who read & comment upon my blog. I count some of them among my friends.
(There's more to a person than just the interest in spanking, or writing a spanking story [w/humor.]
The blog is an outlet; a shared intimacy, or revelation, of our deepest self.)
It's always a pleasure, when you know there is someone on the other end of the wire, who shares your dreams, and fantasies..and, not only that, validates their pleasure in you, with friendship.
Here's a lil spank* for you, for expressing these thoughts far better than I.

PS: I gotta start reading your stories now! :)
You expressed them better than I did, Will. :-) There's something special about how we can connect with so many people in a real way, even though it's on the internet.
My spanking stories aren't very humorous, I'm not sure if that's good or bad thing. I love to explore the vulnerability and trust things. :-)
Thank you for commenting on my blog, Will!

Dave, me too! I had a little blog over at Diaryland ages and ages ago. Being able to express myself and read about others who expressed similar and even different things got me hooked. :-)
